The issue we have been having was with paying the Zcash (ZEC) directly to the Grandson Ledger from our Zcash faucets. All those micro payments were creating a multitude of inputs (UTXOs). And the fees when we send it to the MexC Dust Converter, gobbled up most of or all of the micro payments.
Previously it did not matter as our monthly Pipeflare referral commission partially hid this from our attention.
A couple months ago I noticed the fee was $1.44 AUD to send our monthly pay cheque to MexC from the Grandson's Ledger Nano. Decided to check the total amount of the mirco payments that month. Just subtracted the referral commission from the total sent. Turned out the faucet payments for the month pretty much equalled the fees. That was when decided to just delete the Zcash address from Pipeflare faucet, thinking would just let it build up and claim it in a lump sum. Not possible, the faucet doesn't work with out a Zcash address. Didn't bother to add the address back as it was not worth the time and effort for zilch.
We were still claiming from the GlobalHive faucet as their rewards were higher per claim plus relatively quick and easy.
Pipeflare Referral Commission Delayed
Not an issue, as it is not the first time there has been a problem with Referral Commission payouts being delayed. Once it took 6 months for them to resolve their issues but we eventually got a big lumpsum payment.
Homer Simpson Moment (AKA Lightbulb Moment)
Saturday morning is Sahaja Yoga Meditation at Scarborough Beach. Rain Hail or Shine.
The program presenter was Tyronne and he was talking about the qualities of the different chakras. The Svadhisthana chakra is the seat of creative expression, imagination and inspiration, amongst other things. As an example Tyronne mentions where you are working on a project at home or work and suddenly something just pops into to your attention. One of those "lightbulb moments" where the answer just comes to you. That is the Svadhisthana chakra at work.
When the meditation program was over my first stop was Knead Bread and Coffee, our local sourdough bread shop for my daily bread. Focaccia Bread, Vege Pizza slice and a toasted Sesame Seed Bagel with Cream Cheese.
Sitting in the car, with the sun streaming in, munching on the Vege Slice it came to me.
Why not just send the Zcash (ZEC) directly to MexC and use the Dust Converter to turn it into the MexC native token MX. MexC usually has very low minimum deposits and in the case of Zcash (ZEC) there is no minimum deposit. Just need 110 confirmations.
While sitting in the car and soaking up the winter sun's warmth. The MexC Zcash (ZEC) wallet address was added to the GlobalHive faucet and 0.0000846 ZEC was claimed. By the time I got home the 110 confirmations had gone through.
Then I thought I would restart the Pipeflare faucet by adding the MexC Zcash (ZEC) wallet address. Sending the dribbles direct to the Dust Converter.
D'oh! The referral commissions were not delayed so much. As I had deleted the Ledger Zcash (ZEC) wallet address, Pipeflare had no where to send the monthly pay cheque. Double D'oh!
The cheque has been posted and is due early August. Fingers crossed.
That should give us enough to complete our GFI portfolio allocation and send to the Grandson's Ledger Nano.
Note: We like to have a $200 minimum per token as a starting point.

Update 21 July 2024
