By B18 | B18 | 9 May 2020

Woke up this morning to a Twitter notification from @publish0x on my mobile.

Publish0x released their weekly payments to Publish0x users.

This week we've sent 1343 payments to #Publish0x users; 15,863 $LRC, 221 $DAI and 4155 $BAT.

We recommend you save $LRC, $BAT and $DAI tokens securely with @AtomicWallet

TRX hashes of payouts we send:

etherscan.io/address/0xF9879bB3230f86fFCebcA652C5FB6Ec4504309be

Lets Have a Play with etherescan.io

Clicking on the  etherscan.io address   brings up the list of payments from the Ethereum address 0xF9879bB3230f86fFCebcA652C5FB6Ec4504309be

Brave

etherscan.io shows the wallet value at $7,254.16

Using the drop-down box and searching for the tokens show:

Brave

Looping Coin (LRC) - 107,910.80686846 LRC          $3,758.97          @0.0348340759

Brave

BAT (BAT) - 2,201.63125367 BAT           $517.53          @0.2350666519

Brave

DAI Stablecoin (DAI) - 1,438.88143604 DAI          $1,452.63          @1.0095518045

Brave

Digging a bit further I see there was some residual Bounty0x (BNTY) and Hydro (HYDRO)

Brave

Bounty0x (BNTY) - 6,699.03295737 BNTY          $3.92          @0.0005858499

Brave

Hydro (HYDRO) - 241,639.67587148 HYDRO          $110.63            @0.0004578356

Brave

They even have 888,888 KickToken (KICK).

These amounts are whats left in the Ethereum wallet address 0xF9879bB3230f86fFCebcA652C5FB6Ec4504309be and are not what has been sent from that address.

Brave

There was 19,973 transactions against that Ethereum address dating back 74 day and 11 hours.

Brave

etherscan.io is a useful tool to get used to using. I have used it in the past where I have sent transaction from an exchange to our Exodus Ethereum wallet address and it never arrived but was showing on the exchange as transaction completed. Checking the txid in etherscan.io showed that the transaction did not exist. Sent that info to the exchange and they immediately cancelled the transactions and the tokens were back in my account and was able to resend "no problems".

Back to Publish0x Tweet

Given the large number of people on Publish0x I was surprised at the low number of payments made this week (1,343). Some authors have over 2,000 followers and posts can get total view tallies of 2,000 - 5,000+. (Would be interesting to know how many people use Publish0x).

But it can be explained in part by:

  • not everyone is an author and it can take a number of weeks to accumulate enough of a token to get the minimum required for a withdrawal.
  • 2-3 weeks with LRC and many more weeks for DAI and BAT

So there we go, thats what I did first thing this beautiful autumn morning.

Looking out the window from my work station, there are no clouds or wind.

Now my wife and I are going to go for a long beach walk, love this time of year in Perth, Western Australia. The sun warms your body with out burning you to a crisp.

Feel free to post comments, always interested in your feedback. As a publisher I appreciate some one taking the time to post comments. It's a great way to learn new things.

Or even a thumbs up if you enjoyed your read.

Evening Update Today

But it can be explained in part by:

  • you can only withdraw one token per week

Thanks to  @banano  and  @Igor Tomić (team)  for pointing out that the above bullet point was incorrect and you can withdraw any token that you have enough funds to withdraw. I have removed the offending bullet point from the post but added here so the comments has context and makes sense.

Rereading the Payments page messages, it suddenly all makes perfect sense.

Bought our 1st pieces of BTC, July 2017. The process was daunting and confusing. Could easily given up & put it in the too hard basket or have fallen victim to one of the many scams or pitfalls. Grateful to a friend of my son's, who had been in this space for awhile, giving me some good advice & steering me in the right direction. That experience has helped shape my desire to share what I learn. Also always had a morbid fascination with Snake Oil Salesman & their sales pitch; Bitconnect, USI Tech..
