Coinbase lawyer appointed to treasury position

Brian Brooks, the top lawyer of Coinbase will become the chief operating officer and first deputy comptroller of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on April 1. The OCC serves to charter, regulate, and supervise all national banks and thrift institutions and the federally licensed branches and agencies of foreign banks in the United States. “In the midst of a public health and financial crisis, we are comforted to know that Brian Brooks will serve in this critical role overseeing the nation’s banking system," a spokesperson from Coinbase said in an email to Corporate Counsel. 

Huge news for the crypto world, but I could scarcely find anything on it. A nice sign of life in the middle of all the discouraging price crashes. Crypto will survive coronavirus and burst forth stronger than ever. Don't bow out, but take advantage of the volatility and great prices. We know how incredible and revolutionary the tech we're investing is, so let's stay focused on that and not motivated by current prices, fear and negative media especially from bears who want to say I told you so about the consequences of a worldwide pandemic we've literally never seen and could have never predicted.
