One of the many benefits of Ambire Wallet is that it lets you get crypto by paying with fiat — you know, your good ol’ dollars, euros or pounds. One of the ways to do that is via our integration with Ramp Network.
What is Ramp Network
Ramp Network is an onramp service — a payment provider that allows people to purchase crypto via FIAT currencies. It is integrated in applications, e.g. Ambire AdEx and Ambire Wallet, so that when you buy your crypto it goes directly into your account balance.
How does Ramp Network work
Usually Ramp Network allows you to buy crypto in 5 standard ways — credit card, debit card, instant bank transfer, manual bank transfer and ApplePay. These methods may vary depending on the legislation of your country of residence. The available currencies also depend on your local laws. It is important to have in mind that if you want to buy crypto through Ramp Network, you will have to undergo a quick KYC (“Know your customer”) procedure and provide proof of your identity.
Ramp Network in Ambire Wallet
When you choose to top up your account you will see the Ambire top-up screen. It lets you choose between:
- Direct deposit of ERC20 tokens to your wallet address; and
- Fiat top-up via Transak, Ramp Network or PayTrie.
Choosing Ramp Network will open the Ramp Network window that will guide you through the process. Purchasing crypto with FIAT through Ramp Network can be done in just a few minutes.
