Battle of Privacy Coins! Comparison of Top 3 Privacy Coins XMR ZEC DASH

1 Mar 2020 Mnox

Monero is the one true privacy and decentralized coin, of those three at least. Dash is nice overall, however some optional privacy features don't make it a privacy coin. The technology behind ZCash is rather interesting, but that's about it. There are many more coins you could have mentioned, though you likely know that already. Anyways, good article!

Ok, that's interesting. I appreciate your answer. Are those identity features live on Hydro already? If so, then yes, I can't think of anything similar running on Ethereum at this point. That's indeed an important plus that I wasn't aware of.

Project Hydro AMA

10 February 2020
Hello. I am glad you are having an AMA. I consider it a great way to reach out and broaden your community. So, it is an undeniable fact that there are many great projects using the power of blockchain technology to build alternatives or improvements for the broken, to say the least, financial system. The dilemma for me is not between cash, banking, centralized networks, etc and the decentralization offered by cryptocurrency, but between all those coins and tokens themselves. Many projects want to become spaces for running dapps on, many others propose similar ideas for changing finance, and even more try to act as means of payment or of storing value. The thing is that the projects that try to copy from Bitcoin, Ethereum, or XRP, to name the biggest ones, usually have few minor advantages over them, making themselves unnecessary as a consequence and thus are, in my opinion, bound to fall by the hand of the "first movers". So my question is: what makes Project Hydro original? Why and how would Hydro survive and dominate the space of finance instead of XRP and XLM? What does Hydro have more than COTI and DAG so that it can be the chosen one to lead the industry towards the digitalization and decentralization of finance? I thank you beforehand, just for being here with us.
