I've seen the ads of PipeFlare. That's why I decided to check the reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't find a review at TrustPilot.com. There are only a few review on less know sites. [The most detailed one](https://borodatiyvopros.com/questions/128575/) is mostly negative (sorry, it's in Russian).

Thanks for your swift reply. I thought that NEXO tokens are needed only if you have a loan. Am I right? Why you need a loan if you hold stablecoins?

So what is the main reason for you to use Nexo: earn 8% by holding stablecoins, or get a loan with a discount of NEXO tokens?

Brave Crypto Wallets Vs. Uphold for Cashing Out BAT

OK. It seems our discussion went to far from the original topic. As for my point of view, I can say the following: 1) The cryptocurrency itself is to be enough to pay for goods and services. No transfer to fiat money is needed. 2) When the government regulation is involved I can accept the international law without any U.S. "specific" methods (i.e. sanctions, "terrorist supporting countries" labeling).

Excuse me but have you read the "Brave Rewards: Terms of Service for Users" (https://basicattentiontoken.org/user-terms-of-service/)? Here is a small quote: "You may not access or use our Services if: (d) you have been suspended from using our Services, (e) under the applicable law of the jurisdiction(s) in which you reside or conduct business, you are prohibited from using the Services or do not have the requisite licenses or other governmental authorizations to use the Services, (f) you are located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a ā€œterrorist supportingā€ country, (g) you are listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties, or (h) your use of the Services breaches any other agreement to which you are a party." If the (e), (f) and (g) items are not the methods of U.S. political pressure, then what is it?

Uphold is an international corporation. The headquarter (Uphold HQ Inc.) is registered in South California (https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_sc/714926). For me that means that instead of a distributed and decentralized solution one can see a hierarchic and centralized structure. That is against the idea of cryptocurrency itself.

I mean if you're not a U.S. citizen you cannot use the Uphold "groundbreaking debit card". I'm not a U.S. citizen and the value of that card is zero for me.

Please change your article and add that the topic you're writing about is applicable to the USA. "The Uphold debit MastercardĀ® is ... DeFi in 2020: An Overview of Crypto Finance Platforms

3 Mar 2020 Abhijoy Sarkar

Thanks for sharing your overview. But I think Cred is not a DeFi platform. Look what thay say about themselves: "Cred is a licensed lender and leverages a substantial balance sheet and proprietary technology to provide business and retail credit and to allow its customers to earn a yield on more than 30 crypto and fiat currencies through its partner network." There is no any word about decentralization but there is the word "proprietary".
