How Crypto.com Can Move Forward

I hope the price starts climbing again so I can dump all the CRO I have stuck in earn when it finally unlocks at the end of December. Luckily I unstaked my 10K CRO and converted it to BTC before the most recent nosedive. The only CRO I'll be holding from now on is the 1K required for Ruby, and I'll immediately be converting all CRO cashback to BTC from now on.

BAT token sacrifice done and Gods are happy

I've been invested in the BAT project for over a year now, and the one thing that I can assure you is the price always drops. It's pumped like this before, but a retrace always follows. But that doesn't bother me, because I see it as more of a long term investment.

Blade Reward Program Vs Brave Reward Program

The reason for that, as well as the reason it's broken into 2 extensions instead of 1, is because the Chrome Web Store prohibits those types of extensions from being listed on the store.

You're free to use Brave and tip your BAT to verified creators (i.e. use the system as it's really meant to be used) without touching Uphold or KYC of any kind. But if you want to withdraw that BAT, yeah you're gonna have to do KYC. That's not a Brave decision, that's the law. Sidestepping that law would just put Brave at odds with the US government.

FYI: Unless you've got a fairly beefy Chromebook the performance of Brave in their Linux emulation is going to be shit. Also, you might as well go ahead and see about swapping your Chromebook over to Gallium OS. Since you like to make use of old computers I'm guessing you won't be tossing that Chromebook in the trash, but with Google's update policy your Chromebook is going to hit End-Of-Life roughly 5 years from the date it went on the market, so in the interest of security you'd need to do it anyway. Also, Gallium OS offers native, non-emulated performance and access to pretty much any .Deb file, snap, flatpak or AppImage you care to install. Highly recommend it.

Adding to this, I recently tipped myself a bunch of BAT that I had been saving up for months because, *shocker*, the Uphold withdrawal system wasn't doing its job. Now, Brave is holding my BAT hostage---BAT that they've said repeatedly in the past is mine, free and clear---and I'm currently waiting to hear back from the appeal and find out if they see fit to let me have the BAT I'd earned. I used to be a big believer in Brave and BAT, but these past few weeks I've really started to see the cracks.

If Brave were to allow users to withdraw tokens without KYC, they'd get shut down by the FTC in no time. Just find someone that's willing to buy your BAT from you, transfer it to their BAT publishers account and cash out that way.

Coinwink is a better free offering. The one you linked is quite heavily paywalled.

Per the article: "Once you've acquired the necessary hardware, I recommend connecting it to the internet once and installing Brave browser and the MyEtherWallet Chrome app on it. Once it's installed, disconnect your Pi from the internet by physically unplugging the ethernet adapter." Might wanna correct that bit, then.

Like the humor and all, but Brave browser is x86 only. Fairly major oversight on your part.

That's only for the token grants. The BAT earned from ads is yours to use as you see fit. Brave certainly isn't going to object to you tipping yourself and giving them a 5% cut.
