nice thinking on the heater part, My buddy has three Asic miners that he uses as heat source to grow mushroom bags in the grow room. each one gives off about 173 degrees of heat times 3 is 519 degrees. Using as a heater is a great use of the power consumption. But then lies the problem of summer time. When people kick them off due to the summer heat.

I see your point about Litecoin payment; I like Litecoin due to business transaction use. I never actually thought of how much the power of trusting transferring of wealth with one single technology was needed until now.

Interesting... never thought ASIC's to be harmful. I was thinking ASIC would help hash decentralization. I'm learning mining, I am very noob to Crypto. I like buying coins and trading. I wanted to understand mining a little better. I bought two "Apollo miners from future bit batch two" with saved up bitcoin. My thinking to ASIC's was that regular people can get into mining crypto. If every house had one Apollo or similar. I believe that would help balance out power mining from major farms. {My true belief in future coins are things like [Tezos] with its baking staking power.} I have made way more coins with less money by staking then mining with physical ASIC's machines in less amount of time. to be honest; I do enjoy Tezos baking over Litecoin mining.

"So let's begin, I chose to start with RVN as it is a coin that I believe strongly is on the right track towards a solid future and it is specifically gear towards being ASIC resistant which gives hobby miners a chance at getting something for their time and effort." Why is ASIC resistant good?

I have 600 of them, I have them because i like the name of things "Raven" my call sign was Raven 1 in my old job. I think there logo is (pretty), What is a major reason; they have a future? I mine litecoin, and have a interest in all crypto. What makes Raven different than the others? Besides a cool name and a pretty bird for a logo?

I see this as great news in many forms, I love the idea of no government arm twisting of sites to comply and ban certain users. Also there is a real world use for the technology even if it is for humans viewing human sexual behavior.

I have two Apollo miners in my living room running on ECO setting, It averages 99,800 kb/s to 109 MH/s. Theres a range through out the day. When wife leaves for the day, I turn them on turbo, they mine between 131 MH/s 140 MH/s. I gave some USB Moonlanders out for Christmas gifts, which is FutureBit USB miners. I am mining just to add power to the hash rate and to learn how this works. There are many things I learned that I would not have if I would not have started about crypto. after seeing how mining works; this is why I believe staking coins will be king. Tezos is a example of staking and baking; holding the coin in a baking wallet is similar to mining coins.
