Marriage Feels Impossible?

6 Jul 2020 1 minute read 0 comments Final Sigma

The Bible isn't just about marriage, but it certainly has a lot to say about marriage. And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?” He answered, “Have you not read that he who created the...

When I speak with folks, they can always identify something they waste money on. Unused subscriptions, unnecessary Starbucks coffee, etc. My argument: Why don't you try "wasting" some of that money on Bitcoin for a while?

Go After Bitcoin | A Complete Analysis On BTC In The Light Of Trump's Statement

I don't buy it. I'm no genius. I've known about Bitcoin since 2010. I explained the blockchain to friends back in 2015. But I never actually bought any until 2020. Dumb move. Very dumb move. But all of these different models are descriptive of what *has* happened, not prescriptive to say what *will* happen. If tomorrow the price dropped to $6,500 (decoupled from the S&P), you'd have some fresh lines and patterns to talk about, and I'm sure you (and others) would do it in the same pattern you've done now. I like value investing, buying assets based on the intrinsic value of an asset. Stocks, bonds, real estate, etc., identifying a price that makes sense regardless of what the market thinks. At the end of the day, the stock-to-flow model is the only predictive model that makes sense. To determine the intrinsic value of bitcoin, it looks at two things: supply and demand. First, demand isn't lessening. It's increasing. Quickly? Slowly? No one really know. But we can all agree it's going up. Kind of like the adoption of smartphones. It was a new technology. Second, supply. Halvenings introduce supply shocks. Supply shocks, when there is consistent demand, have real effects on price. If Trump really does go after bitcoin, he could by Executive Order outlaw ownership. The price would go to zero. In USD. Your charts and predictions would be a real mess, but that doesn't mean the long-term intrinsic value has changed. It's still going to the moon!

American here. Just stacking Crypto, not really trading. Can confirm that is everything and more that I hoped to get out of Coinbase. Their bank is based overseas, though, which sometimes tags on extra fees to my debit/credit card purchases. Otherwise, It's a great, great choice.

This and other DeFi platforms seem really neat, but I don't often see high enough interest rates on the savings side for it to really be worth my time. Is it simply a matter of adoption?
